Victoria outlines some of the amazing discoveries happening at Turtons Creek including the existence of Slender Tree-ferns, a fragile, beautiful and Critically Endangered species.
The discovery has prompted concerns about forestry operations that are happening nearby at 'Fella's Coupe' which is managed by HVP on Crown Land. The coupe also has Slender Tree-ferns in the gullies, potentially over 70; which would make it a very significant population and needing proper protections.
